Ghanaian forward Seth Paintsil has won the Maltese League title with Hamrun Spartans in his debut season.

Paintsil joined the club in June 2023 as a free agent, signing a one-year deal with the team. His contract will expire in June 2024.

He quickly established himself as a key member of the team, playing a pivotal role in the club’s success story this season.

The Ghanaian international delivered an outstanding performance throughout the season, with his speed, skill, and clinical finishing adding some bite to the team.

In a stellar performance, the 27-year-old notched seven goals in 23 appearances as the club navigate their way through to clinch the title.

His leadership both on and off the pitch galvanized the squad, instilling a belief that the impossible was within reach.

Hamrun finished on the summit of the table with 62 points.
