Great Olympics secured a thrilling 3-2 win over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium in a matchweek 32 clash of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

That was Great Olympics' first win in seven matches, having lost three straight games prior.

The win means the Dade boys are enhancing their chances of surviving relegation as they now sit 16th on the league log with 36 points, two points away from the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Berekum Chelsea remain eighth on the table with 44 points despite the defeat but are badly out of form.

Isaac Mensah opened the scoring after 25 minutes before Stephen Amankona equalized in the 63rd minute.

Isaac Mensah again restored parity for the hosts five minutes later, but Amankona again equalized in the 73rd minute.

Great Olympics found the winner with five minutes to the end of the game to seal a 3-2 win.

Great Olympics will play away to Asante Kotoko next Sunday while Berekum Chelsea hosts RTU the same day.
