Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish has become the subject of an internal investigation as a result of his alleged antics off the field following Villa's goalless draw with Ipswich last weekend.

The 21-year-old has made an encouraging start the season in the Championship, scoring two goals in eight appearances after signing a new deal that will see him stay at Villa Park until 2020.

But aside from his solid performances on the field, his life outside of football has once again been called into question.

The England Under-21 international wasreportedlypartying in a Birmingham hotel into the early hours on Sunday morning, prompting noise complaints from fellow hotel guests.

In April 2015 Grealish also found himself in the spotlight after being pictured inhaling laughing gas balloons, an incident he later apologised for to formermanagerTim Sherwood.

He was also banished to Villa's Under-21 side at the tail end of last season by ex-boss Remi Garde after being spotted drunk in Tenerife as well as partying into the early hours in Birmingham followingVilla's humiliating 4-0 defeat against Everton.
