Ataa Abbey: Physically-challenged Hearts fan interact with players after Bechem Utd win

Published on: 17 February 2020

Physically-challenged Hearts of Oak hardcore supporter, Ataa Abbey was in the dressing room of the club on Sunday to interact with players after they beat Bechem United 3-2.

The Phobians who have not been consistent since the 2019/2020 season started were in action yesterday afternoon when they hosted the Bechem-based club in a Match Week 10 encounter.

A pulsating encounter produced 5 goals with the Rainbow lads leaving it late before getting the winning goal, all thanks to striker Kofi Kordzi who netted a brace at the end of the day.

At the end of the win, long-time supporter Ataa Abbey was invited to Hearts of Oak’s dressing room to motivate the players as the team continues its quest for league triumph.

Earlier today, the club posted a short video of the interaction with the caption: “67-year-old life long supporter of Hearts of Oak, Ataa Abbey, who has been attending our games for over 50 years motivates our players after yesterday’s win”.
