Athletic Bilbao to pocket close to €200m over the sale Williams brothers in January - Reports

Spanish La Liga side. Athletic Bilbao are set to sell Ghanaian brothers Inaki Williams and Nico Williams in the winter transfer window according to reports. 

The Williams brothers who have been key players for the side have been attracting interest from top clubs in Europe.

Inaki, who featured for Ghana at the just-ended 2022 World Cup in Qatar has been linked to Liverpool as reported by Footballghana.com earlier.

Jurgen Klopp's side are ready to trigger Inaki's €135 million release clause.

Meanwhile, Nico has been linked to Arsenal who are currently sitting on top of the Premier League.

Nico Williams could be sold for around 50 million euros.

New boss Jon Uriarte believes offloading the brothers will bring in huge income for the club to do business in January.

Although the Basque club wants to keep the duo, the new direction of the club is interested in making reinforcements this winter.

Meanwhile, the club will hope to sign César Azpilicueta, Álvaro Odriozola, Mikel Oyarzabal, Aymeric Laporte and Jon Karrikaburuto to boost the side.
