Keving Gameiro scored an incredible five minute hat-trick for Atletico Madrid on Saturday to secure them all three points against Sporting Gijon. The game looked like it was going to end 1-1, but from the 80th minute onwards Gameiro created a piece of magic.
Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has hailed the impact of which Gameiro and his substitutes made to win them the game so late on and in devastating fashion.
Speaking about his substitutes ViaGoal,Simone said:"The changes in the second half were decisive because they gave us balance in the middle of the pitch, and then the pace of Gameiro settled it.
"I'm delighted for Gameiro because it's not easy to score three goals that were especially important for the team.
"In the last few minutes, as happened against Celta, we did some damage. The team knows how to react to conceding goals."
Gameiro's hat-trick came in exactly four minutes and 43 seconds, which is the fastest hat-trick in La Liga since Bebeto's in 1995 against Alicante.
His hat-trick surely proves that he should be in the starting eleven and not be an impact sub for Diego Simeone. If he does this every game though the Athletico manager will love having him on the bench to bring on and win them games.

The 4-1 win was a valuable three points for Simone's men as it has kept them in the chase with Sevilla, Barcelona and Real Madrid who are all above them fighting at the top of the table.
