Augustine Boakye came off the bench to score a late equalizer for Wolfsberger AC against TSV Hartberg in the Relegation Round of games in the Austrian Bundesliga on Friday.

Wolfsberger AC got off to a terrible start and had to accept an early disadvantage. After just five minutes, Mamadou Sangare gave the Hartberg visitors a 1-0 lead.

The Wolves greatly improved in the second half, and they had their first opportunity to tie the score in the 47th minute when Baribo volleyed home from Malone's cross but was stopped by Sallinger.

Avdijaj sent the ball to Tadic after the visitors launched a counterattack, and Tadic scored the 2-0 goal with a heel. However, the Wolves didn't give up and kept trying to score, which should happen in the 63rd minute.

With his cross, substitute Jasic connected with Maurice Malone, who missed the first time at Sallinger but scored on the rebound to make it 2-1.

Boakye was hit by Pfeifer in the penalty area 15 minutes before the game's conclusion, but referee Jager did not signal a penalty. Wolves were able to reward themselves for their relentless quest just one minute later. Malone's initial shot was stopped, but Augustine Boakye's second attempt entered the net.
