Austria: Samuel Tetteh makes an appearance in home defeat to Hartberg

Published on: 05 June 2020

LASK Linz midfielder Samuel Tetteh played for a few minutes as his team suffered a shock  2-1 defeat to Hartberg in the return of the Austrian Bundesliga.

The 24 year old replaced Husein Balic in the 68th minute as his side search for a result. That was however not enough as Linz lost on the day.

The host started the game well and got into the lead in the 9th minute through Brazilian striker Klauss De Mello.

Rajko Rep responded in the 24th minute for Hartberg and Dario Tadic planted the dagger into the hearts of Linz fans at the Reiffesen Arena in the dying embers of the game.

The defeat sees Linz drop to 3rd with 21 points and Hartberg move up to 5th on the log. LASK Linz were on top of the log before the league's suspension but saw 6 points deducted from them after breaching COVID-19 training regulations. Red Bull Salzburg are now on top of the table with 27 points.
