Austrian side Sturm Graz interested in signing Ghana defender Kennedy Boateng

Footballghana.com can report that Austrian top-flight side Sturm Graz has expressed interest in signing Ghanaian international Kennedy Boateng.

The SV Reid defender is on the radar of the Sturm Graz who wants to strengthen their backline before the summer transfer window shuts next week.

They will, however, have to speed up their pursuit if they want to secure the service of the highly-rated player.

Boateng is also wanted by a host of clubs including Greek side Aris Thessaloniki who made an offer early this month.

Though that offer was rejected, it is understood they are lurking around the corner and will make another offer to try for the last time before the transfer window comes to a close on Monday.

Meanwhile, Sturm Graz is believed to be very interested in his services and urgently needs the defender after missing out on signing Gideon Mensah who joined Zulte Waregem today.

It is likely they could make an insane offer for Boateng before the close of this week to convince SV Reid to release the player.
