Black Stars players Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp returned to the Selhurst based outfit very early during the international break.

The pair after playing against Ethiopia which ended with a win for Ghana couldn't join the Black Stars to Johannesburg because South Africa is a red list country any player returning to the UK from there would face mandatory isolation upon re-entry.

Ayew and Schlupp wanted to avoid the isolation so they stayed away and returned immediately to Selhurst to prepare for the club's next fixture.

During the match against Ethiopia at the Cape Coast Stadium, Jeffrey Schlupp was substituted in the 28th minute due to an injury and St. Pauli's Daniel Kofi Kyereh replaced the Crystal Palace man.

Jeffrey Schlupp will likely miss the clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
