AZ Alkmaar forward Myron Boadu has been attracting interest from clubs following his outstanding form in the Dutch Eredivisie and the European champions league which has prompted to his club direct attention off him, he won't be out on the transfer market.

Ajax is eagerly looking for offensive reinforcements now that the club is missing a number of attackers due to injuries and three matches in a row have failed to hit, the name Myron Boadu have been singing around as possible reinforcements.

However, Alkmaar have no plans of releasing the attacker this winter according to technical director Max Huiberts of AZ,the player is certainly not for sale this winter. AZ wants to continue the championship match with Ajax in the second half of the season and also get as far as possible in the Europa League. The club has ambitions and sales of its best players do not fit in with that. In fact;

"It is quite likely that we will look for a central defender during the winter break," said AZ trainer Arne Slot, currently Jordy Clasie being used as a central defender, in conversation with NU.nl. Slot, however, wants to be more spacious in the choices, and not get into trouble if Clasie also gets injured. "If we get a new defender, then it is not that he will immediately play if Jordy keeps doing so well," says the AZ trainer, who knows that his selection is less broad than that of title competitor Ajax. "If we get such an injury box as Ajax has now, we have to rely on players other than them."
