Baba Rahman extends his career to RCD Mallorca

Baba Rahman has extended his Chelsea contract by one-year, his new contract takes him to 2022 and will be spending the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Real Mallorca which has been confirmed on the clubs website.

The Left-back joined Chelsea from Augsburg in 2015 for a few of £14 million and has been on loans at Schalke in Germany and then Reims in France.

He sustained a serious injury while with Schalke in 2016/17 playing for Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations, which he spent almost two years on injury.

He played 11 games for Reims scoring 1 gaol after a switch from Schalke in January.

Baba made his Chelsea debut in a 4-0 Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in September 2015 and has 23 Blues appearances to his name.

He began his career at Dreams FC and played in the Ghanaian Premier League with Asante Kotoko. In 2012.
