Chelsea defender Baba Rahman has fond memories of his time at the much less glamorous Bundesliga outfit Augsburg.
The Ghanaian international joined the Royal Blues in 2014, and after what he describes as the ‘best season of my career’, he secured a big money move to Chelsea.
The 25 year old in an interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com recalled with smiles his successful stint at the club.
“In Augsburg, everything was moving so smoothly, when I remember my time at the club I say Alhamdulillah because my career took a huge step in the right direction”
The former Dreams FC star spent last season on loan at Stade Reims and will be looking to sought out his future after the upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
