The 26-year-old defender has been on loan at Schalke, Reims, and Mallorca he looks set for his first loan in English football.
Baba Rahman's contract with Chelsea expires in June 2022, he is fully fit now and he has been training at Cobham with the loan group of players.
Rahman, who has 28 caps for Ghana moved to Augsburg in 2014, making 32 appearances in his first season before the Stamford Bridge outfit secured his signature.
