Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has paid tribute to club legend Quini after his passing this week.
The Basque coach began his press conference by expressing sadness at the passing away of Sporting Gijon and Barcelona forward Quini.
"The loss of Quini is important. He was a natural born scorer from a different time," said Valverde.
"He was a warm, friendly and entertaining person. He always made you feel comfortable and I wish his family all the best."
Next opponents Las Palmas are currently third from bottom but Valverde believes that they are improving under Paco Jemez.
"A few weeks ago, before Paco Jemez arrived, they were worse. They will try to show what they can do and will be a brave team," he explained.
