Interviewed by Italian site sigonfialarete.it, Gregory Dakad, agent of French centre-back Clement Lenglet (23), playing for Barcelona FC and recently linked to Napoli, stated: "I'm really sorry for Napoli, I don't know what to say...they actually came for him last summer, but then Barcelona showed up, and that was it. You never can say 100% chance about anything in football, but I don't see how and why should Clement leave Blaugrana now. He's getting game time, he's winning, and, let's face it, that's Barça". Spanish giants purchased Lenglet from Sevilla FC, last summer, on a 36 million euros fee, and former AS Nancy player is currently on a deal with the club until June 2023.
