Asked by Mundo Deportivo about his own future, Croatian international midfielder Ivan Rakitic (30) stated: "A new Barcelona FC long-term? I'm on an almost 3-year deal still, that's quite a long time. Anyway, I hope we can have a further extension, I really feel like playing more for Barça. Bartomeu called me indeed, and I'm eager to talk to him again soon, and discuss a Blaugrana future of mine". Former Sevilla and Schalke player joined Barcelona in summer 2014.
