Netherlands and Barcelona forward Memphis Depay met Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido during his holidays in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Depay recently visited Ghana, having featured for Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League where he scored three goals in four games.

He paid a courtesy call on the Life Patron of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as well as the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo and presented a signed Barcelona jersey to both.

Depay also paid a surprise visit to the Asante Kotoko's camp as well as took a photos with Hearts of Oak midfielder Sulley Muntari as the pair played together a community game in Madina, a suburb of Ghana's capital.

Depay, who has a Ghanaian father and a Dutch mother, was at Davido’s concert to show support as a fellow African, and he captioned the pictures on his Instagram page with the flags of Nigeria and Ghana.

Further reports say the footballer presented Davido with a Barcelona jersey after they exchanged pleasantries for the first time in the offline world.

He scored 13 goals and provided two assists in 38 appearances for Barcelona last season.
