Barcelona hero Julio Salinas had a message for Lionel Messi's doubters after his new contract signing yesterday.
Yesterday morning, Messi ended all speculation about his future by penning a new contract to 2021.
And former Barca striker Salinas was happy to remind those who believed delays over the deal being signed was due to Messi's doubts about the future of Barca and their involvement in Catalan independence.
He posted to social media: "Let's see if they rectify now those who perhaps had some interest to manipulate news like the craque did not renew and stopped his investments for the independence process, etc etc ...
"The best now is to increase his legend."
