Barcelona star Leo Messi admits he may never be friends with great Real Madrid rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
Messi says they spend little time with eachother.
He told Marca: "I don't know if we will be. Friendship is built through spending time together and getting to know eachother. We have no relationship, mainly because we only see eachother at awards ceremonies and that's the only time we speak. Everything is fine, but our lives don't cross over very often."
On Real Madrid, Messi doesn't see them in crisis for long.
"It's only temporary. It's not the first time that we've seen a situation like that of Real Madrid in a top league. In the end, they will be back fighting for everything because of the team they have, because of the players they have and because they have always been like that."
