Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud concedes he's frustrated with the lack of action he's seen this season.

Giroud's starts have been limited this season to the Gunners' Europa League and Carabao Cup teams. And in Germany he is being linked with Bayern Munich today.

But a Premier League door has been opened up as Alexandre Lacazette is likely to be still out this weekend for the game with Manchester United due to a groin strain.

Asked if he finds his situation in the Prem frustrating, The Mail report Giroud as replying: "Yeah, because we are competitors and we want to play every single game to help the team win.

"We want to be on the pitch, we are all competitors so that is it.

On his hopes for starting against second-placed United, Giroud said: "We will see, I don't know.

"He has different options but I will get ready like all the other players."
