Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen Troll Man Utd and Arsenal on Twitter Ahead of Champions League

The Champions League last 16 is upon us, and it's brought with it some predictable goading on social media.

Perhaps less predictably, it's the German clubs on the attack, with both Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen mocking English rivals Arsenal and Manchester United.

Bayern's US Twitter account responded to a post anticipating the return of the Champions League with a video of Franck Ribery and David Alaba dabbing.

A Manchester United fan account couldn't handle the quality of the dance move - understandably looking at Ribery's attempt - and suggested that the club be disqualified.

@FCBayernUS @ChampionsLeague for that dab alone you should be disqualified

Prompting an excellent response from the Bavarian club.

It was Bayer Leverkusen, meanwhile, that ridiculed any possibility of Arsenal knocking out Bayern in the last 16.

The same Manchester United fan account was again the victim, as Bayer's official account cited the Gunners' recent results as evidence that a surprise result is unlikely.

@bayer04_en @FCBayernUS can't wait for this to explode when Arsenal beat them😭

Arsenal will be hoping that they're the ones dabbing following the two legs with Bayernhaving proved their doubters wrong.
