Bayern Munich has re-entered the race for Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi

Bayern Munich is expected to make a second bid to capture Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer.

In the 2019 winter window, the Bavarian giants attempted but failed to sign the England international.

Hudson-Odoi has been out with an Achilles injury since then, and he failed to get consistent playing time in the 2020-21 season.

Bayern Munich's interest in the 20-year-old was thought to have lessened, but Bild reports that sports director Hasan Salihamidzic is still keen to complete a deal.

The German champions' fresh interest comes amid reports that Chelsea is considering offering Hudson-Odoi to Borussia Dortmund in exchange for Jadon Sancho.

Hudson-Odoi made 37 appearances for Chelsea in 2020-21, scoring five goals and assisting on three more.
