Bayern Munich has successfully secure the signing of rising Ghanaian talent Jonah Kusi-Asare, Footballghana.com can confirm.

The 16-year-old Swedish-born Ghanaian joins the German giants from AIK Solna to continue his development. The transfer fee is reported to be around 5.3 million Euros.

Jonah Kusi-Asare, a promising young striker, has been making waves in his developmental journey. Having featured for IF Brommapojkarna Jugend, he later joined the U-19 side of AIK, showcasing his skills and potential on the field.

He was a subject of interested for several European clubs including PSV Eindhoven, Chelsea and Club Brugge but Bayern Munich beats off competition to snap up the youngster.

The fats-rising Ghanaian player has penned a long-term contract with the European giants.

Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund is quoted to have confirmed the signing of the 16-year-old.

"Jonah Kusi-Asare is a young striker with enormous potential. He had a few offers, but he consciously chose FC Bayern because we were able to convince him how we wanted to build and develop him with us. He has all the requirements, is technically strong, fast, tall, physically very robust even at a young age and has an excellent goal finisher. We are very pleased that he will play for FC Bayern in the future."

Kusi-Asare remains eligible to switch allegiance and represent Ghana on the international level despite playing for the Swedish U16 national youth team.
