Bayern Munich Star Sheds Further Light on Dressing Room Angst Ahead of Arsenal Showdown

Former Premier League and current Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben believes that Champions League opponents Arsenal are a threat to anyone, and as such mustnot to be taken for granted, despite their favourable record against the Gunners in recent years.

The north London club face-off against the Bundesliga champions on Wednesday night, in a match sure to test each other's European credentials, although Bayern have successfully knocked out the Gunners at this stage twice in the last four seasons, including a 5-1 demolition job last season.

Robben however, who recently signed a new deal to remain with the club, claims that Arsenal, despite their disappointing domestic standing, will prove worthy adversaries:

There are 16 teams left and of those 16 teams maybe there are seven or eight who can win it, realistically, Robben told theTelegraph.

Maybe a big surprise will win it and I'm not being fair on the other seven or eight teams. "In the Champions League only one weak 45 minutes and you are out.

"Arsenal? I think they have improved again compared to last year and, of course, we have faced them over the last few years and have always won or went through to the next round.

"But I think this is maybe going to be the most difficult one because of their status at the moment."Their level has risen again¦ They are a threat to everybody who is in the Champions League, they can make it difficult for everyone.

"We are confident, of course, but it's going to be a 50/50 one.
