German clubs - in particular Bundesliga sides - have a knack for playing out humorous exchanges with other teams on Twitter.
Both Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have taken to the social media giant to troll, mock and even receive and/or hand out praise for varying reasons already this season.
It's the latter of those two that has hit back - in hilarious fashion, that is - against another Bundesliga team in FC Koln, who recently attempted to jokingly remind Bayern of a match they lost back in 2011:

Bayern, though, taunted Koln back with their own funny take on recent encounters between the sides:

Fans of both outfits flocked to reply to the exchange between the two clubs, with many asking Bayern why they'd been so cruel to mock Koln back:
