Ghana’s Beach Soccer team, the Black Sharks, have been drawn in Group A to face Egypt, Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire in next month’s CAF Beach Soccer Cup of Nations which kicks off from December 13-18 in Nigeria.

The Sharks will be preparing feverishly to leave a mark at this year’s competition when they participate especially after performing well in their last outing.

Ghana will face a stiff opposition from hosts Nigeria who will work tireless to carry the day especially at their own backyard.

The chairman of the Local Organizing Committee of the tournament, Seyi Akinwunmi assured that the competition will set a mark for other major beach soccer competitions glob-ally.

Akinwunmi, who is the vice-president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), said the objective was to ensure that the Nigerian side emerge champions and qualify automatically for the 2017 Beach Soccer World Cup in Bahamas.
