Berekum Chelsea head coach Christopher Ennin is basking in the glory of their 3-0 win over Asante Kotoko at Golden City Park on Friday in their 2022/23 Ghana Premier League match week 26 clash.

He believes beating the defending champions by a such number of goals shows that they have improved, congratulating his players and staff for the work they put into it.

"Beating a big club like Asante Kotoko tells you how improved we are. I’m really grateful to my players and technical team for the great work we did," he said after the game.

"I’m so happy not even with the points but I’m really happy with the score. Because it became something that it’s only one goal that I get at home."

The Bibires are 8th on the league log with 37 points from 26 games, four points behind fourth place Bechem United and ten points of lleaders Aduana FC.

Berekum Chelsea will next play as guests to Bibiani GoldStars away from home in week 27 of the Ghana Premier League.
