Ghana Premier League outfit Bechem United have dragged Tanzanian giants Young Africans to the world’s football governing body (FIFA) for failing to fully pay the transfer fee of winger Augustine Okrah.

The Hunters cashed in on their winger during the January transfer window following his outstanding performance in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Okrah joined the Tanzanian club on a reported transfer fee of USD $120,000, where they only paid USD $20,000 for the release International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

However, the remaining USD $100,000 has since not been paid by Young Africans, forcing Bechem United to report the club to FIFA.

According to reports, Yanga owes Okrah part of his signing on fees, salaries and winning bonuses as well. He was promised these payment but it has not materialized.

The former Kotoko forward now stand a chance of reporting Yanga to FIFA as well.

This issue is not the first of its kind for Yanga, as they previously had a similar situation with Hafiz Konkoni, another former player of Bechem United.

The Tanzanian club faces sanction from FIFA should they fail to settle their debt in time.
