Belgian-born Ghanaian Jeremy Doku provides two assists in Rennes’ thumping win over Troyes

Belgian-born Ghanaian forward Jeremy Doku was in stupendous form for Rennes in their thumping win over Troyes in the French Ligue 1.

Doku started and lasted 88 minutes as his outfit cruised to a comfortable 4-0 home win over Troyes in the week 35 encounter.

The 20-year-old assisted two of his sides four goals as they secured the three maximum points at stake in the clash on Sunday at the Roazhon Park.

Belgium international defender Arthur Theate opened the scoring of the match after 14 minutes into the game.

The Belgian international of Ghanaian root then assisted his outfit second and third goals respectively.

He set up Benjamin Bourigeaud in the 65th minute and also Karl Toko Ekambi five minutes later.

Ekambi rounded off the victory for Rennes in the 74th minute after benefitting from a defensive mistake to send Troyes to relegation.

Doku is having a decent campaign in the French League this campaign where he has five goals and two assists in 26 games so far.
