Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Asamoah has stated that he respects the philosophy of his coach despite failing to play for the club recently.

He was an unused substitute in the team's last two Belgium top-flight games but there is hope for him as two midfielders are facing fitness issues.

However, if he is not picked by his manager, Asamoah could make preparations to leave the club as he has just six months left on his current deal.

“Every trainer has his or her philosophy and I have to respect that”, he said.

He has made 18 appearances in the league so far this season and has not scored a goal.
