Bengaluru FC manager showers praises on Asamoah Gyan after defeat to NorthEast United

Head coach for Bengaluru FC, Carles Cuadrat has saluted veteran Ghana attacker Asamoah Gyan as he describes him as a wonderful player that can decide a match out of nothing.

His show of praise for the strike came when his side lost 2-0 to NorthEast United on Wednesday in the Indian Super League (ISL).

Though Asamoah Gyan could not feature in the match, his teammates got the job done as they grabbed all the maximum points.

Speaking in an interview after the match, Bengaluru FC manager Carles Cuadrat said, “He (Asamoah Gyan) is a wonderful player. He is a killer. He has already shown that he can create a goal from nothing. But he was out today, it happens to every team”.

He further shared that NorthEast United is a very good that that played well on the matchday to deserve all 3 points.

"It was a very equal game but when you score the first goal, it is better. When it was 0-0 it was an equal game and I have to say NorthEast United are a very good team. They know how they play. It was a difficult job to beat their defence”, the gaffer noted.

In the ongoing ISL, Asamoah Gyan has featured in seven games and already has 3 goals to his name. He is expected to spend some time on the sidelines but will return in hopes of continuing from where he left off.
