Ghanaian international Benjamin Tetteh scored on Wednesday afternoon to seal a 2-0 win for his Yeni Malatyaspor outfit in their game against Etimesgut Belediyespor.
The attacker missed out on a starting role for his team today but was introduced in the second half when the side hosted the opponent at the Yeni Malatyspor Stadium for a clash in the Turkish Cup competition.
Although the first half produced a lot of excitement, neither side could get on the scoresheet and had to go into the break on level pegging.
In the second half, an improved performance from Yeni Malatyaspor saw the team scoring in the 53rd minute through a strike from Umut Bulut to take the lead.
Later with 5 minutes to end proceedings, Benjamin Tetteh popped up to score the second goal for the host to eventually hand the team a deserved 2-0 win in the Turkish Cup.
