Jantuah has garnered praise from various football personalities who believe he has what it takes to dethrone incumbent GFA President Kurt Okraku after massively transforming Berekum Chelsea after taking over the club.

GFA elections are expected to be held later this year, with Okraku seeking a second term after being elected in 2019, but he is expected to face stiff competition, with Jantuah receiving early backing from some football people.

Nana Yaw Achaempong, who is also the spokesperson for the club’s president, shed light on Jantuah’s prospects in the upcoming GFA elections.

“Mr Jantuah is competent, trustworthy and committed to serving Ghana Football,” Achaempong told Accra-based Onua TV.

He further emphasised that Jantuah perceives the Ghana Premier League as a tool to drive economic sustainability within the football ecosystem.

“Looking at his prowess as a businessman, he has all the connections to make Ghana Football economically viable and that makes him a better choice than Kurt Okraku,” he added.

Jantuah is scheduled to hold a press conference to officially announce his intentions to run in the GFA presidential elections in the coming days.
