Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah provided an assist to help Besiktas post a thumping 4-0 win over Erzurumspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday afternoon.
The Black Eagles today hosted the matchday opponent at the Vodafone Arena keen on picking up maximum points.
Despite making strides in the first half, neither Besiktas nor Erzurumspor could score and had to go into the break on level terms.
In the second half, Vincent Aboubakar scored from the penalty spot to open the scoring for the home team.
Four minutes later, Bernard Mensah assisted Georges-Kevin N'Koudou to score to double the lead for Besiktas before goals from Domagoj Vida and a second from Vincent Aboubakar sealed the 4-0 win for Besiktas.
On the matchday, Ghana’s Bernard Mensah lasted 73 minutes of the game against Erzurumspor before his place was taken by Dorukhan Tokoz.
