Bernard Mensah scores winner as Kayserispor beat Umraniyespor in Turkish Super Lig

Bernard Mensah's 53rd-minute strike secured a 3-1 victory for Kayserispor over Umraniyespor in the Turkish Super Lig round 28 at RHG Enertuk Stadyumu on Monday.

Mame Baba Thiam opened the scoring for the hosts in the 31st minute from the penalty spot before Mehmet Umut Nayir levelled for the visitors two minutes into first half stoppage time.

Ghana midfielder Mensah then put Kayserispor ahead in the 53rd minute with his fifth goal of the season in 21 matches, providing two assist for the campaign. Mensah played for 88 minutes before being replaced by compatriot Yaw Ackah.

In the 97th minute, Carlos Mané added a third for the hosts to seal a comprehensive victory.

The win takes Kayserispor to 7th place on the league table with 44 points, while Umraniyespor remain in the relegation zone in 18th place with 23 points.

The victory will be a morale booster for Kayserispor as they push for a top-six finish in the Super Lig.
