Ghana international, Bernard Tekpetey has revealed that he was very excited on Sunday when Hearts of Oak defeated Asante Kotoko.
Over the weekend, the two most successful clubs in the country were in action at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In what was a matchday 31 encounter of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season, Hearts of Oak defeated Asante Kotoko 1-0 courtesy of a strike from Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
Speaking to Original TV in an interview on Monday, Bernard Tekpetey disclosed that he was not surprised by the win because he predicted the scoreline before the match.
“I told my friends in Bulgaria that Hearts of Oak will win with a lone goal so I was very happy hearts of oak win yesterday,” the Bulgaria-based forward shared on the Punch show.
Meanwhile, Bernard Tekpetey has today sealed a permanent switch from Schalke 04 to Ludogorets.
