Besiktas keen to permanently sign KP Boateng at the end of his loan spell

Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas is keen to sign Kevin-Prince Boateng on a permanent basis at the end of his loan deal.

The German-born Ghanaian forward joined the Black and Whites from Fiorentina in the summer transfer window for a 6-month loan spell.

In his contract with the club, it was established that they will have an option to sign him permanently if he impresses after making at least 10 appearances.

Though KP Boateng only featured for 6 times before the Turkish Super Lig was halted due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, he managed to make an impact.

His contribution has caught the eye of his coach who is now hoping the club will secure his services for the 2020/2020 season.

At a meeting on Monday, the forward was presented with an offer by the management of Besiktas. They have pleaded with the Ghanaian to lower his demands to help his permanent switch from Fiorentina.

He will earn 1.7 million Euros if his purchase option is triggered but Besiktas wants him to take a slight cut.

KP Boateng has asked for time to think about it and will get back to the club before the summer transfer window opens.
