Betar held its first training camp, Edwin Gyasi joined

Betar Jerusalem opened the training camp in Austria today (Friday) when it held its first training session.

Against the Russian Rostov, Coach Erwin Koeman spoke to the players after training and said:

"Do not try to impress in this game, just play, this is our first game of the season, and they come after a long period of games and training. Play responsibly, move the ball as we practiced and discover responsibility and discipline defensively,"

The Dutchman will perform a wide rotation and practice different sets.

New signing player Edwin Gyasi arrived at the Vienna airport from Amsterdam yesterday, and joined the team.

Gyasi, chose the number 8, which became vacant after the departure of Idan Vered, which he will wear during the coming season.

The preparatory game will take place at the Gornia Radonia Stadium, located in Slovenia adjacent to the camp site.
