Bibiani Goldstars forward Alex Aso has attributed his outfits victory against Hearts of Oak to hard work and determination.

The miners stunned the Phobians at the Accra Sports stadium on Sunday to record their first away win in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.

Mawuli Wayo capitalized on a goalkeeper error in the 79th minute when Sharif Shuaib's clearance rebounded off an opponent, allowing Wayo to seize the opportunity and slot the ball into an empty net.

Speaking after the game, Aso, who emerged as the man of the match in the crucial game attributed his outfit triumph to hard work and determination.

“It wasn’t an easy game because we played against a well-organized team. Hearts of Oak is a good side and one of the best teams in the league”

“This is our first away win and you can see we put in a lot of work and effort from the first minute to the last minute. Even when we were one man down we kept fighting until the last minute and with hard work and determination we go the result we want” he said

Bibiani Goldstars are eleventh on the Ghana Premier League standings after 24 matches into the campaign, accumulating 32 points.
