Bibiani Goldstars new coach Frimpong Manso confident of beating the drop with club

Bibiani Goldstars new coach Frimpong Manso is confident of saving his outfit from relegation at the end of the season.

The Miners have turned to Manso to save them following an unimpressive start to the Ghana Premier League campaign. After 13 matches, Goldstars find themselves in the relegation zone.

With 12 points, Bibiani Goldstars sit 16th position and must play above themselves to avoid demotion to the lower-tier.

They have two wins, six draws and five defeats after 13 games into the Ghanaian top-flight campaign.

Speaking to Takoradi-based West Gold Radio, the former Bofoakwa Tano tactician expressed optimism about saving Goldstars’ season.

“With the quality of players our folds, I’m very optimistic we can save the club if we work together as a team”

“I feel it’s not late for the club. Roughly, we are left with about 20-21 games to end the season and the points involved is about 60-63, so we just have to forget about the past and focus on what is ahead of us. I’m not scared and I believe there are a lot of things that can be done to save the club although it’s a situation that won’t be easy for us” he said.

Bibiani Goldstars are not in action this weekend. Their game against Dreams FC has been postponed due to the CAF Confederations Cup games.
