Black Galaxies coach Annor Walker over the moon after 3-0 win against Benin

The head coach of the Black Galaxies team, Coach Annor Walker says he is overly excited after seeing his side secure a 3-0 win against Benin on Sunday evening.

The gaffer got his tactics right today when the locally assembled national team of the country hosted their counterpart from Benin in the qualifiers for the 2023 CHAN tournament.

Courtesy of top performance from the Black Galaxies, goals from Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Mohammed Alhassan, and Gladson Awako were enough to give the team full marks.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Coach Annor Walker indicated that although he wanted more goals, he is happy with today’s result.

“I’m more than a happy man today because it is a match that is important. If I had gotten 4 I would have taken it. But this is what God has given to me and I’m happy for it," Coach Annor Walker said.

The gaffer added, “Technically we were better than them this afternoon. I will give thanks to my boys for listening to me."

If Ghana’s Black Galaxies managed to overcome Benin, the team will take on Nigeria in the next stage of the qualifiers.
