Black Meteors attacker Ernest Nuamah credits team for success against Algeria

Ernest Nuamah, the talented attacker for Ghana's national under-23 football team, the Black Meteors expressed his gratitude towards his teammates, acknowledging their collective effort as the key factor in their success.

Ghana has qualified for the 2023 CAF u-23 AFCON which will be held in Morocco from June 24- July 8, 2023, in Morocco.

The Black Meteors qualified with a 2-1 aggregate win over Algeria.

Issahaku Abdul Fatawu scored again for the Black Meteors in the return leg played at the Baba Yara Stadium. Ernest Nuamah's wonderful dribble and cross into the box was headed home by Fatawu Issahaku. 

The Sporting Lisbon forward scored a screamer in the first leg which ended 1-1  in Annaba, Algeria four days ago.

"It was a good game amazing feeling we give thanks to the support everybody who came to support us. I also give thanks to the teammates everybody who contributed. It was a team play it was not individual and we did it together," Nuamah said after the game.

The result yesterday gives Ghana another opportunity to compete for a slot to play at the 2024 Summer Olympics which will be staged in Paris.
