Black Princesses Coach Yusif Basigi says he is pleased with his final selection for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

The experienced gaffer named his final 21 players for the global showpiece after thoroughly assessing his players in camp.

Defender Pearl Boamah and goalkeeper Barikisu Alhassan were the two to be dropped out of the squad ahead of the competition but have been handed a call-up to the Black Queens.

Basigi believes his final 21 will be equal to the task in France.

“I assessed the players very well and made the final selection, I think the final 21 have really justified themselves in camp all this while,” he told pressmen.

“It doesn’t mean the two dropped are not good players but obviously we can’t take everyone to the World Cup."

“I am very confident in the team I have selection for the World Cup and I know they will deliver.”

The Black Princesses are in Group A with host France, Netherland and New Zealand.
