The head coach of the Ghana U20 Girls national team, Coach Yussif Basigi is geared up for his team’s clash against Ivory Coast this weekend.
Nicknamed the Black Princesses, the Ghana team will face off with their Ivorian counterpart in the second Group A match of the 2023 WAFU Zone B U20 Girls Cup of Nations tournament.
Ahead of the game, Coach Yussif Basigi says his team has worked hard in the past week and is confident of a win.
The match between Ghana and Ivory Coast will be played on Saturday, May 27.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 15:00gmt at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Host nation, Ghana beat Benin in the first match of the group by three goals to nil.
A win for the Black Princesses on Saturday will send the side into the knockout stage of the maiden edition of the WAFU Zone B Girls U20 Cup of Nations tournament.
