Former Ghana international, Alfred Duncan's contract with Seria A side Fiorentina is set to expire next month with some clubs reportedly circling with interest of signing the experienced campaigner.

Fiorentina have an option to extend until 2025 but have not expressed any interest in triggering the extension clause.

Duncan, 31, has been key for the club throughout this season, having featured in 28 games, scored 2 goals and provided five assists in the Italian Serie A this season.

He also has 10 other appearances in the UEFA Europa Conference League, Supercoppa Italiana and the Italy Cup.

Alfred Duncan signed for AFC Fiorentina in 2020 from fellow Seria A side Sassuola, went out on a few loan stints before cementing his place as a key member of the team.

The Ghanaian will be in contention for a starting place when Fiorentina take on Greek side Olympiacos Piraeus at the end of May at the OPAPA Arena in Athens.
