Black Princesses will perform better at upcoming FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup – Randy Abbey

Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member, Randy Abbey has stressed that he is confident the Black Princesses will perform better at the 2022 FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup tournament.

The Ghana U20 Women’s National team has been drawn against the USA, Japan, and the Netherlands in Group D of the Costa Rica 2022 World Cup.

Ahead of the tournament, GFA Exco member Randy Abbey says he believes the Princesses will do better.

“Black princesses will surely perform better in the upcoming FIFA women's U20 World Cup in Costa Rica,” the GFA Exco member said.

This year’s tournament set to be staged in Costa Rica will commence on August 10, 2022, and will end on August 28, 2022.

Dr. Randy Abbey further disclosed that the Ghana FA is seeing to it that the Black Meteors prepare very well for the upcoming clash against their Benin counterpart.

“We are also preparing the Black meteors U23 for the upcoming Africa games Accra 2023,” he added.
