Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle names starting XI to take on Guinea

Head coach Nora Hauptle has named a strong starting XI to take on Guinea in the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games to be held in Paris, France.

In the first leg of the qualifiers, the Black Queens beat Guinea 3-0 at the Stade de Generale Lansana Conte.

Vivian Adjei Konadu put the Queens ahead in the 19th minute as she capitalized on a goalkeeping error to smash home the opener.

Doris Boaduwaa scored the second goal in the 27th minute and Evelyn Badu made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute.

Nora Häuptle has made one change to her squad for the 2nd leg.

Portia Boakye captain's the side today she will partner experienced defender Janet Egyir at the back, Jennifer Cudjoe starts, and goalkeeper Findiib Konlan is in post for the Queens.

Susan Duah and Adama Alhassan will play at the full back positions.

Ghana’s Black Queens are playing as the home side. The Queens remain poised for total victory as echoed by head coach Nora Hauptle in her pre-match press conference.

The game will kick off at 4:00 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
