The Black Queens of Ghana held a second training session in Ndola, Zambia on Sunday afternoon to continue preparations for the second leg of the tie against the Copper Queens in the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games.

The Ghana women’s national team hosted their counterpart from Zambia on Friday in the first leg of the contest.

In a game played at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Black Queens dominated play and created the most chances.

Unfortunately, coach Nora Hauptle's side could not find the back of the net as Zambia equalised from a setpiece to secure a narrow 1-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.

Having suffered that setback in the first leg, the Ghana women’s national team has travelled to Zambia to overturn the scoreline in the second leg meeting.

As part of preparations, the Black Queens held a first training session in Zambia on Saturday after arriving safely.

This afternoon, the Black Queens have returned to the grass to put in more work as part of the preparations for what will be a tough contest.

The Queens will have two more days to train before the second leg meeting with the Copper Queens on Wednesday, February 28.
