Black Queens midfielder Alice Kusi delighted to sign for Fenerbahce

Ghanaian midfielder Alice Kusi has expressed her delight after signing for the women's team of Turkish top-flight side Fenerbahce.

The 28-year-old, who played for Ghana at the 2018 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, announced the move on Instagram, saying "I’m happy to announce my new home Fenerbahce. Good luck to myself #BetterDays"

Kusi has signed for Fenerbahçe for the 2022-2023 season, and the club released a statement welcoming her to the team.

The statement read, "Our Fenerbahçe Petrol Office Women's Football Team added Alice Kusi, midfielder who played for Serbia's ZFK Spartak Subotica team last season.

"Saying ‘Welcome to our club’ to our player; We wish him success with our striped jersey."

Prior to joining Fenerbahce, Kusi played for Serbia's ZFK Spartak Subotica in 2021. She has also played for Safa and Zouk Mosbeh in Lebanon, Shabab Al-Ordon in Jordan, and had two stints with Women's Premier League side Fabulous Lady, where she started out.
